I offer a comprehensive service to help trace your Canadian lineage. We’ll start by reviewing any existing documentation you have and use it to build a personalized plan for further research. If you don’t have any documents, that’s not a problem! I’ll then search through U.S. and Quebec genealogical databases to begin uncovering your Canadian ancestors. Along the way, I’ll navigate challenges like name changes or missing birth records to ensure we don’t hit any dead ends. At the end, you’ll receive a detailed family tree, high-quality document images, and a clear summary of your Canadian ancestry.

Getting started is easy. Simply provide any documentation you have, like birth certificates, immigration papers, family photos, or anything else that might provide clues. Don’t hesitate to share any stories or details you remember hearing from your parents or grandparents. You’d be surprised how many puzzle pieces can be found in those personal anecdotes.

We offer flexible pricing based on project type and complexity. After an initial conversation, we’ll provide a transparent quote. Our research rate is $50/hour, and creating a complete portfolio may take five to ten hours, depending on, but not limited to, preliminary research, “dead ends,” and name changes and other records limitations.

I am a member of the American French Genealogical Society and American-Canadian Genealogical Society.
While I am not a certified genealogist, I specialize in tracing Canadian lineage and offer a higher level of research expertise than what you'll typically find on platforms like Ancestry.com. This service is focused on helping those with Québécois roots get thorough, personalized assistance with their family history.
