Québécois? Moi?

In December 2025, a Canadian law redefined who may claim Canadian citizenship, broadening the definition to anyone with a Canadian ancestor.

Across the world, descendants of Canadians began exploring their lineage, and interest in Québécois genealogy exploded.

While many New Englanders have roots in our province to the north, records can be hard to find. Quebec Lineage Services is your partner in locating documentation of your heritage, enabling you to tell your family story.
